TA President Ned Einstein is an active member of the American Public Transit Association and its Access Committee (dealing with ADA issues), National Association of Pupil Transportation, United Motorcoach Association, National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS), Community Transportation Association of America, and the international school transportation community's L'association Internationale pour le Sécurité du Transport des Jeunes (A.I.S.T).
Mr. Einstein has also been writing a monthly article on the subject of "Safety and Liability" for National Bus Trader for the past 10 years, and a monthly article on crossing ("The Crossing Guy") for School Transportation News, for which he also serves as a contributing editor.
