Ned Einstein Provides Expert Services to Pedestrian Crossing Case

Transportation Alternatives recently began assisting a plaintiff’s counsel in a vehicle-pedestrian crossing case — a theme in which he has served as an expert in more than 60 lawsuits. In this case, an adult was discharged at a mid-block position at a non-designated stop by a transit vehicle, and while crossing, was struck by a car traveling in the same direction that had just passed the bus when the plaintiff stepped from in front of the bus into its path. The transit agency’s policy included the require that all drivers inform crossing passengers to cross behind the bus.
